Truthfully, few pictures are taken at the exact second that is optimum for a perfect picture and hence, most are in need of some kind of post-production work. This is true whether they were taken on-the-fly with a point-and-click camera or by a professional photographer who couldn’t avoid getting a waiter in the shot.
However, with a little color correction here and removing a few table linen wrinkles there...taking people out of a photo or building shrubbery into it...we can more often than not improve your photographs fairly easily! Just imagine the photos you have that would have been PERFECT...if only that ONE little thing wasn't amiss. Yeah, we can probably fix that!
If you aren't in the digital business, this might be frightening: Hi-Res, Lo-Res, DPI, PPI, PSD, RGB, CMYK, JPG, TIFF, EPS...YIKES! Knowing which format to use and when can be more than a little overwhelming. Not to mention that it gets more confusing every day because sadly, new technology doesn't wait for any of us to catch up!
